Amado is a member of the Bar in two jurisdictions – The Philippines and Canada. He completed his undergraduate degree in 1994 and his Bachelor of Law in 2000 from the Far Eastern University in the Philippines. Upon arriving in Canada, Amado worked for the Manitoba Justice Department in multiple capacities eventually articling and holding a position as Crown Attorney upon his completion of the credential equivalence requirements imposed by the Federation of Law Society of Canada in 2013. 


With over 20 years of experience, Amado has appeared in numerous levels of courts. In the Philippines, his practice focused on criminal, civil, corporate and administrative. While here in Canada, he primarily works with clients on criminal and immigration matters. Having worked for the Crown’s office, Amado boasts expertise as a defense counsel that afford, he and his clients a wider perspective than most can offer. 


Amado is passionate about the law and this passion does not end at the office or in court. You will often find him hosting seminars and talks that are geared towards educating his local community, especially youth, on the law profession and smart practices to ensure that members of the community are reaching their fullest potential. 


In his free time, Amado enjoys travelling, fishing and being outdoors.

Parminder completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science from the Punjab University in India. After which, she graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University in India. 


Parminder has since passed her NCA exams and is currently a PREP candidate under the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED).


Parminder is a warm addition to our office. Her kind-nature and inspiring work ethic surely is an asset. 

ROY RABIN

Roy Rabin is an articling candidate with international litigation experience and a strong commitment to client-focused legal advocacy. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) in Canada. Roy is currently completing the Practice Readiness Education Program (PREP) with anticipated completion in Fall 2025, as he pursues full requalification to practice law in Canada.


Roy brings over two years of post-Bar legal experience, having represented clients in numerous criminal cases before the Kenyan Magistrate and High Courts. His litigation background includes conducting bail hearings, criminal trials, and sentencing hearings, as well as negotiating high-stakes plea agreements with prosecutorial authorities. Roy has also drafted court documents at all levels, including submissions before the Court of Appeal of Kenya, and supervised legal staff to ensure procedural compliance and excellence in client service.


With a growing interest in Canadian criminal and immigration law, Roy combines his litigation acumen with a client-centric approach rooted in integrity and diligence. His experience also spans corporate service roles, having worked in Canada reviewing content policy compliance for a major social media platform.

LOURDES B. CLAROS

Administrative and Financial Officer


Lourdes is an experienced business woman who has over 25 years of business management to boast. She completed her undergraduate degree from the Far Eastern University in 1993 and also attended the College of Law. Additionally, she completed the requirements and examination as prescribed by the Philippine Professional Regulation Committee after which she earned her license as a Custom Broker. 


She opted to direct her focus on managing her own Custom Brokerage Firm which she opened in 1996 where her innate mathematical acuity and unparalleled management talents were invaluable assets. Her firm had strong relations both on the domestic and international stage, managing the import of materials and resources for major projects in the construction industry in the Philippines. Similarly, the firm maintained a long-lasting relationship with a USA-based consolidator who facilitated the shipping of personal effects to and from the Philippines, allowing families to stay connected with their relatives abroad. 


Her expertise in the ins and outs of business management is crucial to our office’s success. She grounds Amado Claros Law Office, allowing the firm to work at its fullest potential daily. She manages both the administrative and financial aspects of the firm that are often unknown and unseen to clients. 


When not in the office, you will find her gardening or talking leisurely walks. She also loves reading and travelling. 

ANNE CAPRICE B. CLAROS-RISTAU

Anne completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Winnipeg with a focus in English, Creative Writing and Philosophy. She is currently a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Candidate at the Queen's University Faculty of Law. She hopes to continue her work at the office in the future as a lawyer. 


Anne is known for her compassion and dedication. With over 10 years of experience in the customer service industry, most of which was spent in managerial roles, she is among the warm smiles that greet our clients when they walk through our door. 


In addition to her work with us, Anne volunteers her time in service to our local Winnipeg community. Most notably, Anne is a board member for the Manitoba Writers’ Guild where she also chairs their Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity committee. Anne is passionate about being both a support and an ally for historically marginalized communities. 


Outside of her work for the firm and her volunteering, Anne is a published writer with works appearing in both domestic and international publications. Anne also enjoys travelling, cooking and reading. 

CHARLEMAGNE B. CLAROS

Legal Clerk and Creative Officer



Charlemagne boasts a creative mind and the ability to always think outside the box. She is the creative front for Amado Claros Law Office. She is the mind behind the design of our website and information material. 


In addition to her creative work, she does clerical work for the firm. You will often find her assisting our immigration clients during their onboarding with us. 


In her free time, she likes to be outdoors. She loves to fish, ride her bike and hike.

Amado is currently a student at the University of Winnipeg where he is en route to earning a 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He hopes to pursue a legal career as well in the future. 


He is enthusiastic and welcoming. You will find him regularly assisting our immigration clients during the onboarding process. He also assists with day to day clerical work at the office. 


In his free time, he loves cooking and being outdoors.



ALANI ROSA B. CLAROS

Receptionist


Alani has the biggest and warmest smile in our office. Her hospitality is enjoyed by our clients from the moment they walk in. 


She is attentive, organized and studious. Despite having her hands full with duties at the reception desk, she finds time to lend a hand to anyone who needs it at the office. You will often find her going from table to table offering her assistance. 


When she is not at the office, Alani enjoys watching movies, drawing and in the summer, fishing.
